Milk, as most know it, helps build strong bones. From a young age, we are taught that drinking milk helps set a strong and reliable foundation. Milk Events is exactly that. Successful events start with the foundation, one of impeccable planning, detailed organization, and effective communication. Milk encompasses everything that is pure and honest, which is exactly how we work and thrive. Our top priority is ensuring that each and every client gets everything they want in their event. We are based out of Pasadena, CA but travel to wherever our services are needed. 

Meet the Team


Candice Yen, Founder & Principal Coordinator

Hello! I’m Candice, owner & principal coordinator at Milk Events. You could say that I pretty much, eat, sleep, and breathe weddings. When I’m not working an event, you’ll most likely find me at a coffee shop, sipping a London Fog (with 2 splendas), working on an event.

Growing up, I played competitive basketball, exposing me early on to fast-paced surroundings. As a natural extrovert, I love being around people and completely thrive under demanding and stress-filled situations. While getting my bachelors at UCLA, I took a side job as an assistant coordinator and fell in love with weddings. In 2015, I founded Milk Events, and have been creating beautiful events ever since.

Over the years, we’ve curated a team of passionate and creative professionals that are dedicated to making sure your event is nothing less than perfect. Our work has been featured in a number of publications including Style Me Pretty, Carats & Cake, Mod Weddings, and Ceremony Magazine.


Jill Tahara, Lead Coordinator

Hi! I’m Jill, associate coordinator for Milk Events. I’ve been working with Milk Events since its birth in the wedding world and have loved it ever since! The younger me grew up in the catering world, worked in service, and organized groups of people for large conferences. One could say that coordinating weddings has become second nature. I love people, coffee, cats, and anything quirky and beautiful.


Kristy Seaver, Lead Coordinator

Hello there! I’m Kristy. I have dreamed about being a wedding coordinator since I was a child and that interest, along with passion, strong attention to detail, and a type A personality, had me in the running for 27 Dresses as I’ve been in and worked in more weddings than I can count. As a newlywed, I know how important your wedding day is and will make sure it is just as you have always dreamed it to be.


Booking Milk Events

Each coordinator at Milk Events only books at most 2 weddings per month. We want to make sure each couple is given the highest quality of service. 

Jill and Kristy currently lead all Skim Milk packages. Candice is available for Two Percent and Whole Milk packages. If you have any questions, please contact us!
